Webster Man Dies After Motorcycle Accident on US-301 in Ridge Manor

A 42-year-old motorcyclist from Webster tragically lost his life Saturday evening following a crash on U.S. 301, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).

Troopers reported that the man was traveling southbound on U.S. 301 when he attempted to turn left into the Whisper Oaks neighborhood. During the maneuver, his motorcycle collided with a Kia Sorento. The force of the impact ejected the rider from the motorcycle, sending him into a Jeep Cherokee.

Emergency crews responded, but the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities confirmed that neither the driver of the Kia Sorento nor the driver of the Jeep Cherokee sustained injuries.

The Florida Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash. At this time, no details have been released about contributing factors such as speed, visibility, or potential right-of-way issues.
