- It struck a tree on the south shoulder
Fatalities Reported
Officials confirmed:
- The driver, a 65-year-old man from San Antonio, Texas, was killed
- His female passenger, whose identity has not yet been released, was also killed
- Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene
