Three Injured After Pickup Truck Overturns in Gulf Breeze Crash

Three people were injured in a three-vehicle crash that left a pickup truck overturned on Gulf Breeze Parkway in Santa Rosa County on Sunday, August 23, 2026.

The collision occurred near the intersection of Gulf Breeze Parkway and Tiger Park Lane. Although emergency dispatchers initially received a report that someone might be trapped inside the overturned truck, officials said the driver was able to get out before firefighters arrived.

According to the Midway Fire District, emergency dispatchers began receiving multiple 911 calls shortly before 1:15 p.m. reporting a three-vehicle collision at Gulf Breeze Parkway and Tiger Park Lane.

One of the vehicles, a pickup truck, overturned and came to rest on its roof.

Initial reports indicated that an occupant might be trapped inside the pickup. However, the driver managed to exit the vehicle before Midway Fire District crews arrived.

Three people were injured in the collision. Officials said none of the injuries were considered life-threatening.

After emergency personnel completed patient care and other operations at the scene, crews used a winch to upright the overturned pickup and remove it from the roadway. Eastbound traffic on Gulf Breeze Parkway was then able to reopen.

What Caused the Three-Vehicle Crash?

The information currently available does not explain what caused the vehicles to collide or which vehicle overturned first.
