Teen Passenger Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash in Santa Rosa County
A 17-year-old Milton teenager lost his life early Wednesday morning after a pickup truck crashed into a tree in Santa Rosa County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

- A 17-year-old Milton boy was riding as a passenger.
- For reasons that remain under investigation, the truck left the roadway and traveled onto the east shoulder.
- The vehicle struck a tree.
- No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
The 17-year-old passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
