Injuries Reported in Early-Morning I-295 Crash in Jacksonville

An early-morning crash on Interstate 295 in Jacksonville resulted in injuries and temporarily blocked all northbound lanes on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the collision occurred near mile marker 28, before New Kings Road. Emergency vehicles initially blocked the entire northbound side of the interstate as crews responded to the scene.
