A late-night shooting outside a Circle K convenience store in Jacksonville, Florida has left a man dead after an argument escalated into violence, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say the suspect fled the scene and remains at large.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the shooting occurred on April 15, 2026, at a Circle K located on Square Lake Boulevard off Southside Boulevard. Investigators say the incident began as an argument inside the store before moving outside.
Once outside, the confrontation escalated, and the suspect allegedly shot the victim in the head. The victim, described as a man in his 30s, was transported to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Authorities have not yet confirmed whether the two individuals knew each other prior to the altercation.
The suspect, described as a Black male, fled the scene in a red Dodge Charger. Law enforcement officials are actively searching for him.
