Driver Killed After Sedan Crashes Into Parked Semi-Truck on I-10 in Madison County

A driver was killed early Thursday morning after a sedan collided with the rear of a parked semi-truck trailer on Interstate 10 in Madison County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The fatal crash temporarily caused road closures along westbound I-10 and U.S. 90 while troopers investigated the scene.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 6 a.m. on August 6, 2026, near Mile Marker 264 on westbound Interstate 10 in Madison County.
