Robert W. Rust is an associate at Flanagan & Bodenheimer Injury and Wrongful Death Law Firm. Prior to joining the firm, Robert served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s office prosecuting a litany of crimes, including, but not limited to, Felony DUI; Aggravated Assault; Grand Theft; and firearms cases. As a prosecutor, Robert distinguished himself as one of the most trial-active attorneys in the office going to verdict over twenty-five times in less than two years. Robert now continues his fight for victims and those wrongfully injured due to the negligence of others.

Robert received a B.A. in Economics from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, with a minor in English. After graduating college, Robert attended the University of Miami School of Law where he served as Managing Editor of the Inter-American Law Review and was selected for publication for his article on Blockchain Technology. While in law school, Robert served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Chief Judge Michael Moore of the United States District Court Southern District of Florida and for the Honorable Judge Edwin Scales III of the Third District Court of Appeal.

Robert’s hobbies include golf, exercise, leisure time with friends and family, and playing with his dog, Watson.
